At CORE-do, our mission is to provide exceptional one on one customized Pilates and fitness instruction.  Our goal is to help our clients obtain their ultimate physical potential through the development of a powerful mind-body connection leading to core-stability, strength, balance, increased flexibility, tone and mastery of movement, that will transcend beyond our studio. 

Pilates instruction is very individualized since no two bodies and lifestyles are alike.  As a result, each program will be developed based upon the individual clients functional movement, static and dynamic postural analysis, lifestyle and goals, leading to profound transformational results.

Our core method of instruction is based on the principles of STOTT PILATES®, a contemporary anatomically-based approach to the original mind-body exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph H. Pilates.  A progression in Pilates that incorporates modern exercise science, biomechanics, athletic performance enhancement and rehabilitation principles, STOTT PILATES® is a safe and effective low-impact way to lengthen, strengthen tone and transform your body regardless of your age or physical condition.





Developed by Moira Merrithew, along with a team of physical therapists,  sports medicine and fitness professionals, STOTT PILATES®an optimal way to achieve strength, flexibility, and proper body alignment.  It incorporates modern exercise science and rehabilitation principles, eliminating contraindicated movements while emphasizing neutral alignment, core stability and peripheral mobility.

Exercises are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance the muscles around the joints.  Customized preparatory exercises and modifications allow the technique to be appropriate for many different body types and abilities, making it applicable to sport-specific training and everyday life.
